The two airports in Kyrgyzstan suffered a "bomb storm"

The Kyrgyz National Security Council reported that at 2:41 pm on the 5th, the National Security Council received a report saying that there was a bomb inside the Manas International Airport in the capital Bishkek. Manas International Airport is the largest airport in Kyrgyzstan, 23 kilometers northwest of Bishkek city. Before 2014, the US Air Force established a transit transportation center at the airport.

According to the Kyrgyz National News Agency, after the Manas International Airport entered a state of emergency, the personnel were evacuated and the police conducted a comprehensive inspection. Videographs taken by witnesses showed that passengers and airport staff were evacuated to the parking lot in the south of the terminal, the road to the airport was blocked, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs lined up to enter the airport.

The police did not find explosives and suspicious items on the aircraft buildings and on the docked aircraft. At approximately 17:40 local time, Manas International Airport resumed normal operation. At present, the relevant departments of Kyrgyzstan are tracking down the source of the reported information, and there are no more clues.

Unexpectedly, there was a wave of unrest, and the Interfax news agency quoted the airport as saying that the airport had received a report of the bomb at around 18:46. Osh Airport has now evacuated passengers and staff, and relevant departments have been involved in the investigation.

Osh is the second largest city in Kyrgyzstan, the capital of Osh State, located in the south of Kyrgyzstan, at the southeastern tip of the Ferghana Basin.
